Sell your aircraft

In theory anyone can sell a private & corporate airplane, and they can.  The reasons to employ a professional broker are very similar to the reasons you employ a professional realtor to sell your commercial or private property. Knowledge of the market and the steps to the completion of a sale, and hopefully some basic sales ability as well.  There are lots of good brokers to choose from, what sets me apart is my ability to read the market and buyers and get the deal closed at the highest possible price.

Because I only take on a very small number of clients at any one time, I have the ability to give your private & corporate aircraft a level of attention most other brokerage companies can’t.

I’m also incredibly frank with my clients about market value of their assets and the time it will take to get it sold.

01

Market Analysis and Pricing

We have many sales tools at our disposal for determining the market value of your aircraft, including access to a vast amount of sales data and statistics as well as professional appraisals. However there is no substitute for picking up the phone and making some calls.  The information we gather, by taking the time and effort to get past posted asking prices and find out what sellers are really asking for and what buyers are prepared to spend, gives you a leg up when pricing your private & corporate aircraft to sell.

02

Advertising

We take advantage of a number of online and printed advertising sales sites as well as social media, to get your aircraft in front of any potential buyers.

We also never take competing listings.  A broker selling two of the same type aircraft simply cannot do the best job possible for you, and often ends up creating a lower return for both sellers.

03

Generating an offer

This is what its all about, and what sets us apart from other brokers.  It’s not enough just to answer phone calls and emails from prospective buyers.  You need to be able to understand the buyer, their motivation and where they are at in the process, in order to get to a place where they are prepared to make an offer on your private & corporate aircraft.

What you need is some good old fashioned salesmanship working on your side, and that is what you get with Connor Aircraft.

04

Pre-closing

Having a professional broker negotiating on your behalf, and watching out for your best interests, is crucial during this stage of the sale.  A sales contract will be created from the terms of the offer letter and is often negotiated between parties. Though not specifically required, we always recommend you have an attorney view the contract.

This is also the time the buyer will schedule and perform a pre-buy inspection of your aircraft, and we work to ensure you are represented fairly and not subjected to unnecessary expense.

05

Closing

We coordinate with the title company and escrow agent as well as the buyers representative to ensure everything is in place for a fast and issue free closing.
